Here is an unusual copy of “Lucky Bucky in Oz”, one of the Oz books written and illustrated by John R Neill, in a beautiful library binding. Library versions of Oz books with cover art are becoming very collectible for their different look and scarcity. This is #32 in the Winter 2015 Baum Bugle checklist compiled by Bienvenue and Schmidt. Internal black and white illustrations by Neill, published by Reilly & Lee.
This is apparently one of the few books that were sold to the general public instead of libraries as it has no library markings. This copy originally from Fred Meyer’s collection. Cover is still bright and clean, spine is nice, binding is tight. Inside, the endpapers and all over pages are very clean, looks almost never read. A nice, collectible copy!
