Here is a beautiful copy of Magical Mimics in Oz by Jack Snow, copyright 1946, published by Reilly & Lee and illustrated by Frank Kramer. This is a first edition (1st printing), 1 1/8″ thick with 16 page gatherings and green illustrated endpapers, in the primary A (grey) binding (reference the Book Collector’s Guide to L Frank Baum). 242 pages.
Book is in very good plus condition! Front cover pastedown is clean, spine looks great, rear cover has a little soiling. Inside the binding and endpapers are tight; endpapers clean except for a Timmins Stationary stamp at base (likely this is the store the book was originally sold from ). The ownership page is blank and the pages are nice and clean with light age toning due to the post-war paper used. No marks or tears. A very nice collectible copy.
