Description
Here are four reproduction playing pieces for the 1921 Wonderful Game of Oz edition. The first edition game included a colorful game board, 4 small pewter figurines with Dorothy, the Scarecrow, the Tinman and the Lion, and 6 wooden dice that spell out W-I-Z-A-R-D. The first edition of the game was the only one to come with pewter figurines (later they switched to wooden ones), so the originals are super hard to find. These reproduction pieces may have been created as early as the 1950s, according to Bill Thompson in his Baum Bugle article about the game. They are in good condition but a little lighter and not as finely casted as the originals.
