Here is a very unusual grouping of historical Oz photographs from one of L. Frank Baum’s non-book ventures, the Patchwork Girl of Oz silent film from the Oz Film Manufacturing Company. Only a few films were made before the company folded; Patchwork Girl was the first. These four 8″x10″ photographs are from the well-known Everett collection and undated, but appear quite early with very nice detail. Some of them have names of the actors on the back, though two says an actor is Todd Wright, when I believe it is actually Frank Moore (Unk Nunkie). The images have some age toning and marks in margins from some kind of clip. One has a small tear at the edge. Very scarce.
