Very scarce Grizzly Flats Railroad Pass, allowing Disney animator Dick Heumer to ride on Disney Legend’s Ward Kimball’s elaborate backyard railroad. Hand signed by both animators! Original cardstock pass measures 4.25” x 2.75”, with a train on the front and a map of the RR on the back. Early pass #59. Ward’s San Gabriel railroad was created in 1942 and is said to have inspired the Disneyland Railroad. In worn condition with edge wear and one small tear–who knows where Dick carried it, but complete and perfectly legible. Two much later, unsigned Grizzly Flats tickets sold for $800 and $425 at Van Eaton Galleries in 2020 and 2022.
