Here is set of a wonderful early Oz maps, a must-have for the Oz collector. One map depicts “The Magical Countries Surrounding Oz” and features The Land of Oz in the center, with countries from the other Baum/Thompson books in the surrounding space. These include the Valley of Mo, Boboland, the Kingdom of Ix, Merryland, etc. The second map is “The Marvelous Land of Oz”. These maps were put out by The International Wizard of Oz Club, and were drawn by James E. Haff and Dick Martin. They were revised many times (and yet again in 2008); these are some of the earliest ones dated 1972. I believe the third Club issue, after 1962 and 1967 club issues. This is a complete set with the two original different maps and also a matching copy of the 1972 “Explanatory Notes” brochure by James E Haff. Size is 11″ x 17″.
Maps are in good condition with some small margin tears and creases, and have been lightly folded. The colors are still vibrant and there are no marks or foxing.
