Here is a vintage copy of The Wonder City of Oz book in original dust jacket. Copyright 1940 by John R. Neill, famous Oz illustrator who continued writing the series for a while. This Reilly & Lee edition has a full color pastedown illustration on the cloth front cover, and 32-page “gatherings”, dating it to post-1940. The dust jacket flap lists to Magical Mimics in Oz (1946). Black and white illustrations by John R. Neill (color plates were no longer used at this point), black and white illustrated endpapers.
A very good book overall with a perfect front cover pastedown, a little fading to spine, tight binding, and clean pages, even the ownership page. The dust jacket is good plus, not price clipped but with some chipping to spine edges and flaps as shown.
