Here is an early printing of Glinda of Oz by L. Frank Baum. Published in late 1920s according to the Book Collector’s Guide to Baum, with 12 color plates but no advertisement on the back of the half-title page. Published by Reilly and Lee and circa late 1920s, according to the Book Collector’s Guide to Baum. Also with nice illustrated endpapers.
This copy in good plus condition. The cover pastedown is nice, but the spine has a little discoloration and the rear cover has some pale striations at the top. Inside, hinges are intact, bookseller’s pencil notations and old price on front endpaper, Book Belongs to Page is filled in. Pages are mostly quite clean, a few small brown spots, and all 12 color plates present and in nice condition. A nice copy of a hard to find early Oz book.
