Here is a nice early copy of The Emerald City of Oz, sixth of the Oz books written by L. Frank Baum. Copyright 1910 by Reilly & Britton, this is a circa 1926 copy with advertisements listing to Hungry Tiger of Oz in the front. It also includes 12 fabulous color plates by John R. Neill (in addition to many black and white illustrations). This is a somewhat unusual cover design with Ozma and a piglet peeking over the fence Also contains beautiful B&W illustrated endpapers of Ozma and Dorothy.
This book exterior is good only, with some fading and staining to pastedown and fading to rear cloth (but not quite a much as it looks in the photo). The interior is very good overall with front hinge cracked but holding, 3 signatures of original owner Martha Beldon, and all 12 color plates being present and in excellent clean condition.
