Here is a first edition copy of Handy Mandy in Oz, with the original 1st edition dust jacket! Copyright 1937 by Ruth Plumly Thompson, this is a first edition with Handy Mandy on the spine and 16-page gatherings. With black and white illustrations (as issued) by the famed John R Neill. The book itself is in very good plus condition, with beautiful clean turquoise cloth, tight hinges, light age toning to endpapers, clean pages, and a slight cock to spine. The color dust jacket is good, price-clipped and with some creasing at base, wear to spine ends and a long closed tear to top left of cover. Still quite attractive.
