Description
Here is “Captain Salt in Oz”, one of the Oz books written by Ruth Plumly Thompson. Copyright 1936 by Reilly & Lee, this is a first printing with illustrated endpapers and 16-page gatherings, as called for in Blbliographia Oziana. As a post-1935 publication, this book never had color plates, but does have the color pastedown on the cover.
Condition is very good overall. Pastedown is in beautifual condition, some lightening to spine, light wear to rear cover. Inside, the hinges are tight and there is no writing or tears, a very nice copy of a highly collectible Thompson title!
