Here is a nice copy of “The Ballad of Reading Gaol”, a Roycrofters book, copyright 1905. Written by Oscar Wilde. 3/4 full levant (Morocco leather) cover in an unusual blue color, blue marbled endpapers, one of 100 copies printed on Japan Vellum, signed by Elbert Hubbard. The chapter headings have red and gilt ornamented initials. Pages are unnumbered, but it contains 109 stanzas with 2 per page.
The book is in good condition, with age toning to marbled front paper and wear to spineedges and ends as shown. Inside, binding is tight and pages are clean with some age toning but no writing or tears. Hard to find in this binding!
