Here is a nice Roycroft booklet: The Motto Book, with a beautiful full color cover design by famed designer Dard Hunter. Signed with Hunter’s initials (DH) in the corner. It is a little book, 67 pages, with hundreds of Roycroft mottos printed in small type (and 2 B&W copies of actual motto cards tipped in). Many by Hubbard himself, some lifted from other places (like the Bible!). Copyright 1920; not the first Motto book the Roycrofters published, but with one of the best covers. About 5×7.5″.
In good condition with some flaws: the cover artwork is very clean; a little splitting at base of paper spine, tiny tears to overhanging yapp edges. Inside, some loss to bottom corner of first two leaves, erasure mark in top corner of title page. Otherwise pages are clean.
