Description
Here is an unusual little book: The High-Jinks of L. Frank Baum, one of a limited edition of just 500. High-Jinks is a small, staple bound volume that has songs and poems by Baum from his days in the Uplifters, a Los Angeles social club. In this copy, the mini B&W frontispiece has been hand colored by Dick Martin. This special copy also inscribed to David Greene by compiler/printer Alla T Ford, one of the founding members of the International Wizard of Oz Club. This little book is just 2.5″ high with appropriately small writing and about 30 pages. Published in 1969. This inscribed copy actually was in my personal collection until I found an even more Oz-some embellished copy.
In very good condition, complete and tight with just a little soiling and corner wear to the covers, interior excellent.
