Description
Before MGM’s release of The Wizard of Oz movie in 1939, Leo Feist issued sheet music for six of the songs from the movie. This is a later “Simplified” Piano Solo, arranged by John Lane. What makes this version noteworthy is the wonderful graphic cartoon cover, signed “Bramanti”–with a little girl playing with a dog with an icepack on his head. Harburg and Arlen are still credited on the cover. Four pages including covers, copyright 1938, 1939, 1966, 1967 MGM, distributed by Columbia Pictures In very good condition.
