Here is an undated issue of Song Hits Leader that features an ad for the MGM Wizard of Oz on the cover, and lyrics for 6 of the songs inside. This Vol 15, number 59 issue is made of newsprint and is different and more fragile than the other Song Hits of the era that I’ve seen. No publishing info and no musical scores, but it does include lyrics for several Wizard of Oz songs: Over the Rainbow, Ding Dong the Witch is Dead, Merry Old Land, and even the rare Jitterbug song that was pulled from the movie at the last minute! Unusual early piece.
In fair condition but fragile, with edge chipping and a little loss to edges, light pencil writing on margin, and age toning.
