Description

Before MGM’s release of The Wizard of Oz movie in 1939, Leo Feist issued sheet music for six of the songs from the movie. The earliest printings included “The Jitterbug”, a song that was ultimately cut from film. Here is the “We’re Off to See the Wizard”. This original piece is one of the earliest, that actually still has the “The Jitterbug” in the listing on the front! Also with a single bar of it (and the other songs) on the back. Six pages with covers, with photos of the main cast and MGM credits on the cover.

In good overall condition, with a 1″ closed tear at fore edge of all pages, solid spine, and small former owner’s name on cover. Clean graphics.
