Here is a fabulous Oz map for the serious collector, from Oz Club legend Fred Meyer’s collection. This oversized “Wonderful World of Oz” features the Land of Oz in the center, with lands from the other Baum/Thompson books in the surrounding space. The Emerald City and Glinda’s Palace feature prominent roles, along with The Shifting Sands, WoggleBug College, Merryland, etc. Dick Martin expertly designed this map, and the graphics are just incredible. This map is much larger than the Oz Club maps. Size is a generous 24″ x 34″. Copyright 1988. These are now being reproduced in a reduced size, but this is the original!
The map is in good condition, no tears or marks, but with some margin creasing, has never been folded. The colors are beautiful and vibrant. This map would look fabulous framed and displayed over a complete set of vintage or white cover Oz books. Will come with a statement of provenance.
Map will be shipped rolled in a Priority Mail tube; unfortunately USPS rates have gone up considerably on items longer than 22″.
