Oz auctioneer, bibliophile and illustrator Dick Martin drew other things not related to Oz, including playing cards, greeting cards, and personal holiday cards like this one from 1965. He was very clever with paper and this card folded out to create a large Christmas tree decorated with all 12 Days of Christmas characters. My favorite are the lords and ladies–check them out! Framed and professionally matted for a total size of 13″x19″. Signed “Seasons Greetings from Dick Martin” at the bottom and dated in pencil 1965 at the top. From the collection of Dick’s friend and fellow Oz Club member David Greene. In good condition with some wear to gold finish on frame.
