Inspired by Wizard of Oz author L. Frank Baum’s love of printing, Oz scholar Michael Riley produces shorter works by Baum at his own Pamami Press. He hand set all the type, prints the pages on a press similar to one Baum might have used, and hand binds each copy. Pamami books have become sought-after collector’s items and are described fully in The Book Collector’s Guide to L. Frank Baum by Paul Bienvenue, pages 271-277.
Here is offered a choice of two small poetry booklets created solely for attendees of the 2011 and 2012 Winkie Conventions–Blow, Winds, Blow! or The Rainbow Chorus. There are only a few of these left and Michael has decided to make them available, while they last. Paperbound wraps; Blow, Winds, Blow is 4 1/2 x 6 3/4″ while Rainbow Chorus is just 4 1/4 x 5 1/2″. Single page of Baum poetry plus publisher’s comments. Rainbow is a limited edition of 110 (number you receive will be different from that shown in photo, which is from my personal collection). Price is for your choice of one of the two booklets; change Cart quantity to 2 if you’d like both.
