Great set of Wizard of Oz-related newspaper clippings, from the Fred Meyer collection. Includes a 1939 Wizard of Oz movie ad (25c back then!) and a nice long article on Oz play Scarecrow Fred Stone (marked March 1923). From Oz Club secretary Fred Meyers’ collection, with original “On Approval” slip from seller to Fred. In various conditions, fragile but readable. In particular the Fred Stone article is in two parts with heavy chipping.
