The Boy Fortune Hunters in Egypt, by L Frank Baum (Wizard of Oz author) writing under a pseudonym, Floyd Akers. Published by Reilly & Britton, copyright 1908. This copy a first edition, third printing (1910), with front cover stamped in orange, green and black. All the original titles in this series are hard to find.
This book is in fair only condition, and priced accordingly. Cover has some scuffing, spine is frayed at bottom joint, and rear cover has a red stain. Graphics are still attractive. Inside, both hinges are badly cracked with mull showing, but holding. Early pages have heavy staining and age toning, especially the title page opposite the frontispiece, but the book is complete with no writing or tears. A place holder til you can find a better copy.
