Description
This is a wonderful set of “Fact & Fancy” playing cards created by the great Oz club member Dick Martin. These are from a limited set of 600 published in 1961, designed for the Chicago Player Card Collector’s Club, of which he was a member. Each card relates to another historic deck of playing cards, and each is a little work of Martin art. With the original decorated wrapper and a limitation card and informational booklet inside. This set #11 and from Oz pioneer David Greene’s collection. Wonderful images…very cool and collectible! (These were released in two back-of-card colors, and this is the “orange” set.) Harder and harder to find.
Cards in excellent condition, wrapper with considerable wear as shown.
