Here’s a set of 3 rare early postcard related to the 1902/1903 Wizard of Oz musical–one of the most popular song was Sammy, originally sung by Lotta Faust as actress Tryxie Tryfle. These cards show different photos of a wooing couple and each has a different section of the Sammy Song (Part 1, 2, and 3). These cards were actually printed in England by Bamforth and testify to the popularity of the Oz musical, even in Europe! They are blank on the back and in very good condition with light wear. This is a recent discovery for me and are the first ones I have seen.
