PICK 1! Here’s some rare early postcards related to the 1902/1903 Wizard of Oz musical–one of the most popular song was Sammy, originally sung by Lotta Faust as actress Tryxie Tryfle. These cards show different photos of a wooing couple and each has a different section of the Sammy Song (Part 1 and 3) shown. These cards were actually printed in England by Bamforth and testify to the popularity of the Oz musical, even in Europe! #1 is blank on the back, with age toning, while #3 was posted in 1910. In generally good condition with light wear. This is a recent discovery for me and some of the first ones I have seen. Price is for your CHOICE of one card–if you want both, change the card quantity to 2.
