Here is another great Oz find! The Wishing Horse of Oz, copyright 1935, this is an early edition from about 1941, with original dust jacket listing to Scalawagons in Oz! This copy is early, but after the color plates were discontinued. Wishing Horse is the 29th Oz book. Written by Ruth Plumly Thompson, and illustrated by John R. Neill in black and white. Green cloth book with colored illustration of the Wishing Horse on both book cover (pastedown) and jacket cover.
This exterior of the book is near fine condition, the pastedown is pretty much perfect and the cloth ls beautiful. Inside, the hinges are tight and there is some writing on the front free endpaper. The Book Belongs To page is blank and the pages are generally clean. Even better, the dust jacket is in quite nice condition. Very clean and pretty, small chip at base of spine, a few small edge tears, not price clipped.
