Here is an early “The Land of Oz” book by L. Frank Baum from Oz-great Fred Meyer’s collection. Published by Reilly & Lee, this is an unusual 1961 edition completely re-illustrated by Dick Martin. Oversized, no dust jacket (as issued). With many vivid full-page color illustrations. This cover is shown as plate 124 in Bibliographia Oziana and is very hard to find.
Book is in fair condition only condition, as the text block has completely seperated from the cover. The cover is still quite nice, clean with some wear/loss to top of spine. The pages inside are in very good condition with light wear and toning, but no writing or tears. Will come with a statement of provenance.
