Here is a nice early copy of “The Land of Oz”, 2nd of the Oz books written by L. Frank Baum. Copyright 1904, this is a 1920s printing with 12 color plates by John R Neill. With the paste-down cover label, black and white pictorial endpapers.
This book is in near very good condition. Some scratching and wear to cover plate. Spine and rear cover looks good. Inside, the hinges are intact except for a small tear at base of front one, 1925 pencil inscription on front endpaper. The illustrated front endpaper and frontispiece have some chipping along the fore-edge. The other plates are in good condition except one with a chip at bottom. The pages are also nice, with just light age toning.
