Here is an unusual edition of The Tin Woodman of Oz by L. Frank Baum. Published by Reilly & Lee in 1955, it’s illustrated in B&W by Dale Ulrey instead of the usual John R. Neill. There are also nifty leading chapter initials featuring the Tin Woodman. First printing of this edition (ca 1955-1959) with black and red image on cover. 262 pages.
Book is in very good condition, with just a little fading at top of spine, and age toning to endpapersr. Hinges in great shape, old pencil date and price in corner. Text pages are nice and clean, complete, unmarred with light toning. Dust jacket is good plus, with some scuffing to covers, and some loss at top and base of spine. Flaps are intact. A nice, collectible copy.
