Here is an unusual edition of The Tin Woodman of Oz by L. Frank Baum. Published by Reilly & Lee in 1955, it’s illustrated in B&W by Dale Ulrey instead of the usual John R. Neill. There are also nifty leading chapter initials featuring the Tin Woodman. First printing of this edition (ca 1955-1959) with black and red image on cover. 262 pages.
Book is in very good condition, with just a little creasing at top of spine, and age toning to endpapers. Hinges in great shape, text pages are nice and clean, no marks or tears with corner bumping to top of first ~30 pages. Dust jacket is near very good, moderate scuffing, some loss at base of rear panel, and wear to extremities. See photos. A nice copy overall.
