Here is a nice early copy of “Tik-tok of Oz”, 8th of the Oz books written by L. Frank Baum. Copyright 1914, this is a Reilly & Lee edition with 12 color plates with captions and blank endpapers. The list of titles in the front ends with Glinda of Oz, dating it to about 1920. Illustrations by John R. Neill.
Book has a very good exterior–clean and nice with light wear. The interior is only fair to good, however, as there is substantial age toning, especially opposite the color plates as shown. All 12 color plates are present, but the frontispiece has a long ~3″ tear as shown and one Gnome King plate has a smaller one. Text pages are in good condition overall, and the binding is tight with uncracked hinges.
