Speedy in Oz book, copyright 1934 by Ruth Plumly Thompson– the hard to find Reilly & Lee 1st edition with 12 beautiful full color plates by John R. Neill, and black and white illustrated endpapers. This title is especially hard to find in the first edition, since it was published in 1934, and Reilly & Lee stopped including color illustrations in their books in 1935.
This is a very good plus copy with an intact and attractive color pastedown, nice rear cover, and spine, Inside, both hinges are tight, a few tiny spots on endpaper, Book Belongs To page is blank. All 12 plates are present and in beautiful condition. Text pages also very good. A very good plus copy overall of a hard to find Thompson 1st!
