Here are two nice vintage copies of The Purple Prince of Oz and the Yellow Knight of Oz, both with original dust jackets! These are both post-1935 editions with dust jackets listing titles to Magical Mimics in Oz, dating the books to about 1946. They both have black and white illustration by the famed John R Neill.
The Purple Prince book is in very good condition, super clean on the outside but with inner hinge cracked with mull showing, and rear hinge starting, but still secure. Former owner’s name, pages clean. The color dust jacket is fair, with a big piece missing in spine, price clipped, other wear as shown. Yellow Knight is very good plus, super clean on outside, inside with front hinge just starting and pages very clean with just light age toning. The jacket is good, with a few small chips but not price-clipped and still attractive.
