Here is an early copy of The Patchwork Girl of Oz book color illustrations and the original early dust jacket with titles listed to 1933 (Ojo in Oz) on the flap. Written by L. Frank Baum, published by Reilly & Lee, copyright 1913. The book points are consistent with that date, with a pastedown cover and no advertisements on back of half title page. Beautiful color illustrated endpapers, and fabulous color and B&W illustrations by John R Neill throughout the text.
This book is in near fine condition, one of the best I have seen–the exterior looks brand new, the pastedown and cloth virtually perfect, tiny scuff at base of spine, interior clean and tight with no marks or writing. There is a little foxing on edge of the text block. The jacket has a large chip at the top front panel, and a small one at top of spine, and light wear. The flaps are complete. Unusual to find these early Oz books with pre-1935 dust jackets.
