Description

Here is a nice copy of the “Ojo in Oz” book, one of the hardest to find, and thus more desirable vintage Wizard of Oz titles. Written by Ruth Plumly Thompson, successor to L. Frank Baum. Copyright 1933 by Reilly & Lee, this is a post-1935 printing with black and white illustrations by John R. Neill. It also includes part of the color dust jacket–the front cover, spine and rear cover, but is missing both flaps. It’s in a nice jacket cover so it still wraps around the book and looks good on the shelf.

The book is in very good condition, with a small chip at top of cover pastedown, and some bumping to rear corners, but otherwise clean and bright. Inside, hinges are tight, endpapers are clean, and pages are nice except the Book Belongs To page has been filled in heavily, with part of the imprint carrying through to the next page. The dust jacket is fair only, because of the missing flaps, and there is some clear tape covering some tears at the top of spine, and moderate edge wear.
