This printing published by Donohue and unusual in that in contains only two color plates (as issued): the title page and the frontispiece which is printed in color on both sides. Still with gorgeous poppy endpapers and some attractive single color illustrations in the text by W. W. Denslow.
Book is in very good condition overall; cover cloth with decoratoin quite clean, small frayed spot at base of spine, light scuffing to rear cover. Inside, the binding is intact with both hinges holding and endpapers bright and beautiful. Original plates are present and in very good condition.
