Here is a nice copy of Magical Mimics in Oz by Jack Snow, copyright 1946, published by Reilly & Lee and illustrated by John R Neill. This is a first edition, over 1″ thick with cover plate and green illustrated endpapers, 242 pages. Jacket is also a 1st with back flap blurb “Oz Books now Classics” (reference the Book Collector’s Guide to L Frank Baum). In grey binding “A”.
The book itself is in near fine condition overall. The front cover pastedown is very clean, spine and rear cover look great, as does the interior. Nice clean and untorn endpapers, tight binding, pages with light age toning, no writing on ownership page. The dust jacket is good; not price clipped but with some edge wear/chipping, and light staining to base of spine. See photos.
