Here is a Lucky Bucky in Oz book, copyright 1942 by John R. Neill, Oz illustrator who continued writing the series for a while. This is the highly desirable Reilly & Lee 1st edition, 1st printing, with 16-page gatherings, a boy’s face and stylized “OZ” on spine as called for in the Book Collector’s Guide to Baum. Also with a full color pastedown illustration on the cloth front cover, black and white illustrations by Neill, illustrated endpapers.
As far as condition, this is a beautiful copy–the exterior cloth and pastedown are super clean. Inside, hinges are tight and intact, endpapers have very light age toning, Book Belongs To page is blank, and pages are very clean. A very collectible copy.
