Here is the unusual Reilly & Britton “Little Wizard Stories of Oz” book, copyright 1914. It contains all 6 titles originally published as individual books in 1913, and wonderful color illustration pages by John R Neill. First edition, yellow-orange binding A, apparently second printing as it is slightly over 1″ thick–about 1 1/16″ actually–and the pages are slightly rough. (I use the reference The Book Collector’s Guide to L Frank Baum.) Blue illustrated endpapers. One of the most scarce and desirable of Baum’s books, in very good plus condition!
The book has an excellent pastedown cover, the exterior cloth is very clean, the spine is intact, with strong unfaded lettering. The hinges and binding are intact and the endpapers have finger soiling, front and back. There is a pencil inscription on the Book Belongs To page. The rest of the pages have many nice color illustrations with occasional finger soiling. A beautiful copy of a collectible Baum title.
