Here is a nice 1st edition, 1st printing of Jack Pumpkinhead of Oz, written by Ruth Plumly Thompson, successor to L. Frank Baum. Copyright 1929 by Reilly & Lee, this contains all 12 color plates by John R Neill, which marks it as the first printing according to the Book Collector’s Guide to Baum.
This book has light wear and staining to corner of front cover pastedown, as well as fading and light end-wear to spine. Inside, the front hinge is cracked with bookseller’s pencil notation to endpaper, while rear hinge is intact. There is a neat name on the Book Belongs To page and age toning to the pages, which are otherwise clean. All 12 color plates are present and in very good condition.
