Scarce title related to L Frank Baum’s early days in Aberdeen, South Dakota, where he operated the short-lived “Baum’s Bazaar”. The book was written by Edwin C. Torrey and published by Farnum Printing and Stationary, circa 1925. Of the 289 pages, there is a 5-page chapter titled simply “Wizard of Oz’, though it’s really about all different aspects of Baum’s life, including his time in Aberdeen as store-owner, newspaper creator, and baseball promoter. In very good condition inside, while the outside has moderate edge wear. Complete with tight binding.
