This is a first edition copy of The Wishing Horse of Oz published by Reilly & Lee. Wishing Horse is the 29th Oz book, and the last one to be issued with color plates, so hard to find in the 1st edition (only one printing). Written by Ruth Plumly Thompson, and illustrated by John R. Neill. 12 color plates and 298 pages, in a later dust jacket listing titles to Magical Mimics. The exterior is good only with some staining to spine and a little corner chip to cover plate. The interior is near very good with hinges lightly cracked and a few pages with brown finger soiling. Ownership page with a name and 1938 date. All 12 color plates are all present and in very good condition.
