Here is a nice 1st edition copy of The Scalawagons of Oz book, copyright 1941 by John R. Neill, famous Oz illustrator who continued writing the series for a while. Published by Reilly & Lee, this edition has 16 page gatherings and “Scala-wagons” on two lines on the spine. This Oz title was only published with black and white illustrations, and also has illustrated endpapers. This copy in near very good condition overall–a quite clean cover and spine, with a small blemish to rear cover cloth.
Inside, both hinges are a little cracked, but holding. Book Belongs To page is blank, and pages overall are clean and in generally nice condition. A quite nice copy overall.
