An interesting Baum collectible: Sweethearts Always, Poems of Love book by Janet Madison, featuring a poem by L. Frank Baum (Her Answer) on p. 53. 12 gorgeous plates with swooning women in various poses, green floral decorations on the pages. Published by Reilly & Britton, copyright 1906, and 1906 is on the title page so I believe this is the first edition. The 1907 edition had a different cover as well. Gilt top edge, with a beautiful cover by Decorative Designers (D D). Interior illustrated by H Putnam Hall. Interior tight and in near fine condition, while exterior has some wear to bottom of spine and corner cloth, as well as some spots at base of front board as shown. Also a faint musty odor to pages but they are clean and crisp.
