Here is a very interesting Roycrofters item: Four Classics, a set of Roycrofters booklets with covers by famed designer Dard Hunter, all enclosed in a lovely little textured folder. Size is measures 8 1/4″ by 6 1/2″. All 4 booklets are written by Elbert Hubbard and are signed with Hunter’s initials (DH) in the corner. Each has the same cover design, but with different colors used for each booklet on the cover and inside for the embellishments. Two are unusual blue and green.
The set includes the following titles: Boy from the Missouri Valley (c. 1916), The Divine in Man (c. 1917), A Message to Garcia (c. 1916), and Get In or Out of Line (c. 1902). The set is probably from the 20s, according to the roycroftbooks.org website.
This set is in quite nice condition. There is a little wear/toning to edges of the folder, but the inside booklets are in beautiful, fine condition!
