Here is a fun Roycroft/Denslow cross-collectible–one of Elbert Hubbard’s Little Journey booklets, in the original mailing envelope, with W W Denslow’s seahorse logo incorporated into the return address! Denslow designed this variation on the standard Roycroft cross and orb when he worked with the Roycrofters in the later 19th century. These envelopes show that Roycrofters were still using Den’s logo when these booklets were published in 1901. This one profiles the great Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart.
The booklet is in very good condition–light wear and toning–with the original photogravure portrait of Mozart laid in. The envelope flap is missing and has moderate wear.
