Here is an original Roycroft book catalog from 1900, “A Catalog and Some Comment”, featuring many beautiful photogravures of Roycroft workers and grounds as well as book listings, prices, and essays. One of the images even includes two tiny W W Denslow caricatures on the wall. Great historical reference! 32 pages numbered pages plus advertisements and a motto at the end. Suede cover, about 8″ x 6 1/4″.
In very good condition overall, beautiful soft suede is quite clean with some fading at edges, with some wear at base of spine. Inside, the hinges are slightly cracked though the binding is tight, and there is a lovely dragon bookplate (of author Charles B Reed) on the front endpaper. The page are super clean with tissue guards still intact, though there is some wear to silk endpapers. See also my Christmas Eve and Friendship from the same collection being listed this week!
