Description
Here is a beautiful original Roycroft Inn brochure and 1920 menu, with Dard Hunter’s graphics of the Roycroft Inn on the front in colr. The back cover is dedicated to Elbert Hubbard himself, who died on the German-bombed Lusitania in 1915. Single sheet bi-fold, measures 7″x 5 3/4″ when open.
The menu features lunch on the left and dinner on the right, with a Note at the bottom: “The iced Tea is sweetened with Syrup before serving, unless otherwise ordered. Granulated Sugar does not readily dissolve in cold liquids and much is wasted.” Who knew?? A scarce little item and the first I have seen from this early period. In very good condition with light edge wear.
