Here is a fun Wizard of Oz related item–an original bunny band magazine cover from John R. Neill, who created fantastic illustrations for many of the Wizard of Oz series books. While best known for Oz, he was also versatile and did other work, including this cover and a set of 6 related Easter postcards. This March, 1916 Pictorial Review, ia oversized at 11″x16″. These zany baggy-pants bunnies are playing different musical instruments, since Jno R Neill at lower left. Magazine is only in fair condition, with spine a little rough, upper corner of front with some loss, a fold mark and a few small edge tears. Rear cover has additional tears and scuffing. Pages has some margin tears as well. Appears to be complete. Oversized shipping charges for this large item which doesn’t quality for Media Mail.
