A packed 298-page book with poetry from nursery rhymes like Little Miss Muppet, Mary’s Lamb, the Owl and the Pussycat, and many, many others. Illustrated with gorgeous full color plates by Neill. Compiled by Benoit, 1st and only edition except for reprint books on demand. Quite scarce in collectible condition, much harder to find than the similar Children’s Stories that Never Grow Old book.
This book is in very good condition overall. Pastedown on cover has a little scuffing near cover, but still attractive. Spine looks good, rear cover has a small stain. Inside, hinges are intact and endpapers are clean and unmarked. All 8 color plates are present and in very good condition, clear and bright. Pages are also very clean with no writing, coloring or tears noted.
